Let's get making ..

1 - In a bowl mix the flour, pinch of salt and baking powder together.

2 - Make a well in the centre.

3 - Add the sugar, egg, lemon and orange zest.

4- Mix together with a fork in the middle of the well.

5 - Start adding the flour as you mix the sugar and egg mixture together.

6 - Once it is all mixed together, work the dough with your hands.

7 - Roll the dough into an oval shape weighing 50 grams.

8 - Place them on a tray with a sheet of parchment paper or a non stick sheet.

9 - Flatten them with your hand once you have finished them all.

1 0 - Place them in the fridge to set for 15 minutes.

1 1 - Now it is time to get the oven pre heated to 180 C.

1 2 - Once the cookies have rested, brush them with milk and sprinkle them with sugar.

1 3 - Place them in the oven for about 20 minutes.

1 4 - Then let them cool on the tray then they are ready to eat.

We hope you and your family enjoy making them as much as we did. Have a lovely weekend.
