moosonthames

One of the best days of the year is pancake day.

Here is our favourite recipe to make our favourite pancakes.

Which ones do you love best, the thin crepe like ones or the fluffy american style?

I find, I don't break the american style pancakes so that's my favourite ones.

Check it out below.

Total time - 40 mins

Serving size - 12 pancakes

Ingredients -

50g butter

300g (Moos on Thames) milk

2 eggs

30g sugar

200g plain flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

Method -

1 - Place butter into the mixing bowl and melt it down.

2 - Add milk, eggs, sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Then mix the ingredients together.

3 - Heat up your frying pan with a bit of extra butter in so they do not stick.

4 - Use a ladle and pour the batter onto the frying pan.

5 - Let it cook for 1-2 minutes then flip and cook it for another minute on the other side.

6 - Set the pancake on a warm plate and cover while you make the rest of the pancakes. (Or just eat it straight away)

Send us in your pancake day photos we would love to see them.
