Looking for a perfect appetiser or something a little different to do in the kitchen with your children.
This tear and share loaf will be perfect. It is super quick and easy to make.
Total time- 25mins
Prep time - 5 mins
Cooking time - 20mins
Serves 4
What do you need -
Sourdough loaf
400g of shredded mozzarella
200g of shredded cheddar
100g of Stilton
150g of unsalted butter
50g of milk
3 large garlic cloves crushed
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1 tbsp fresh parsley
Today we already made a loaf of bread so we used this instead of a sourdough loaf.
Pre heat your oven to 175C
Cut the top of your bread into 2.5cm squares, do not cut the bottom of your bread. This is so that the loaf stays intact.
In a pan add the butter, milk, garlic, pepper and salt. Until the butter is fully melted.
Stuff the bread with cheese and pour the butter mixture inside all the cracks. once the cracks are filled pour a little bit of the butter ontop of the loaf.
Wrap it in foil and bake for 15 - 20 minutes until the cheese is fully melted.
Unwrap the foil and leave to cool on a wire rack for 5 mins.
Then serve immediately with chopped parsley and enjoy.
