Tasty rice pudding recipe

Want to find out how to make a super tasty rice pudding, without spending ages making it?


Well I have the recipe for you.


Most of the ingredients you will already have in your kitchen cupboard. The best part of rice pudding is that you can add any topping to it so every one can enjoy it. Even the fussy ones of the family.




What will I need ?


125g Pudding rice

800ml Moos on Thames Milk

2 tbsp Sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract





How to make it -


1 - Put all of the ingredients into a cold saucepan.


2 - Stir to combine all the ingredients





3 - Put the lid over the top of the sauce pan and cook on a low heat.


4 - Keep regularly stirring so nothing gets burnt at the bottom. After 30 minutes it should be super creamy and ready to serve. If it isn't quite ready keep cooking it until it is.


If you are like me and just like to bung it in a slow cooker and leave it. Like I do with most of my cooking.


If you have a slow cooker, choose this simple option.


1 - Grease the bowl of the slow cooker with butter.


2 - Add all the ingredients and stir.


3 - Cover with the lid


4 - Then cook on low for 3 - 4 hours or until ready.



Then top with your favourite topping and you are ready to serve.
